Taylore Rowland is a Native Chickasaw interdisciplinary artist from Dallas, Texas. A graduate of Texas State University, she has lived and created across Austin and New Orleans, cities that continue to shape her visual storytelling and cultural perspective.
Her practice spans graphic design, fashion design, marketing campaigns, watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting, bridging the worlds of traditional and digital media — and most recently, sculpture. Taylore’s work is characterized by bold color palettes, a balance of humor and commentary, and a deep curiosity for pattern and surface. When she’s not painting or illustrating, she often creates toile-inspired designs that merge classic aesthetics with contemporary narratives.
Taylore’s recent projects include collaborations with GoEasy Shop, designing feminist fundraising merch benefiting Planned Parenthood; SHEIN X, where she developed a ten-piece Spring/Summer collection exploring the rougher side of old-money Americana through vibrant color and apocalyptic wit; KXT 91.7FM (KERA/NPR), creating a Music Lover’s Paradise summer merch collection for their nonprofit radio fundraiser; and exhibiting her works “Engine Paste” and “Jellyfish Drink” in the Packard Group National Exhibition, curated by Klaire Lockheart.
Her creative practice continues to expand across mediums and disciplines, guided by a spirit of experimentation and a commitment to making work that’s both visually striking and culturally resonant.
